DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

HC2 is a cost-effective, easy-to-assemble mechanical joint for connecting HDPE pipe (HDPE pipe joints only, other plastic pipe materials are prohibited) to steel pipes. Each pipe clip uses four bolts to drive sharp machined teeth into the outside of the HDPE pipe and engage with grooved steel pipe or fittings. 

When the tooth profile effectively clips into the pipe, it provides a safe, rigid mechanical connection that exceeds the pressure of the HDPE pipe itself. The row of teeth is positioned away from the gasket to enhance the sealing capability of the tube clip over the entire operating temperature range, so the temperature and pressure capabilities of the transition tube clip exceed the maximum temperature and pressure ratings of HDPE tube.
